ROAD LIFE
Dear
readers, Namaste, I wish peace, health and happiness to everyone. Indian Roads
are notoriously famous for its unending traffic blocks and unexpected traffic
violations and no doubt the accident rate is always high on Indian Roads. An
average Indian spend approximately 1 to 2 hours on roads and that’s a lot of
time. Hence I think Road Life is the right term to be used regarding daily
riding in Indian Roads. Driving in Indian Roads especially rural and urban
roads are skill, art or science whatever you call it.
Let me share
my thought about driving on Indian Roads, first of all for a first drive
experience especially four wheel driving, Indian main roads are not ideal. No
matter how much you have trained in your driving classes and mastered the technical
aspects of driving, Driving on Indian Roads require one crucial thing that is
getting used to road Driving ethics and style. A beginner should experience the
Indian main Roads gradually and slowly and accustomed to the plan of things on
the road.
As a driver
who got in to the field of driving in the last 6 years, I could easily suggest
the above method because when I was getting in to on road driving before 6
years, I started with scratches on every side of my car and my only intention
was to reduce scratches and avoid big accidents so that I keep my passion
towards driving. I somehow succeeded and now I can tell that my driving is
suitable for Indian Roads.
Driving on
Indian Roads or any of the Roads for that matter mainly based on the knowing of
the speed and covering of the distance of other vehicles on road and
controlling speed of our vehicle and knowing length and breadth of its four sides.
It’s mainly acclimatization of mind to the above things that makes driving
close to perfect. After the initial years of driving on roads automatically a
driver programs mind according to the on road situations and other vehicle’s
style of driving. Once that process is completed then a driver’s mind, hand and
leg will coordinate against any eventualities on road and respond accordingly
to adjust and avoid any clashes and accident on road.
Then how an
accident happens???? It is mainly due to the high degree of rash driving which
includes special circumstances, weather, road, and more than 120 speeding,
sudden stop, turn and twists, drunken driving by another vehicle driver which a
normal driver mind is not prepared or programmed for and nothing even an experienced
driver can do against these events.
So let’s
conclude more experience in the driving on the roads makes a driver more updated
and well prepared for the future calamities. I wish you Peace, Health and
happiness. Thank you for your time everyone. Namaste.
